A Bungee Coupler is used for walking two dogs together without the need for two leads.
This Ancol Bungee Shock Absorbent Coupler prevents that sudden ‘jerk’ when your dog  suddenly lunges forward. 
If your dogs start to pull, the springs cushion the load therefore reducing pulling on your joints.  The central swivel part also allows them to swap sides without any tangling of leads.
